CURRICULUM

Instructional Design

My instructional design projects are based on my extensive scholarly research and firsthand experience in online education. The modules below are examples of courses I developed using Storyline and are grounded in active learning and instructional design theories; these courses illustrate how professional development tools align with organizational goals while remaining engaging and practical for the learner. The same instructional design principles guide my work in educational and legal settings, helping professionals develop a deeper understanding of complex systems and practices.

These modules were designed to train healthcare professionals on the Social Determinants and Drivers of Health (SDOH), which are non-medical conditions that influence health outcomes, including factors such as housing and education as well as access to care. Drawing on recent scholarship and realistic scenarios, the courses encourage learners to recognize and respond to the upstream conditions that shape health outcomes and inequities.
